This page describes the Country Manager Program ("the Program") operated by Circl ("Circl", "we", "us", "our"). It sets out the role of a Country Manager, the eligibility criteria applied for designation, the benefits associated with the status, and the conditions under which this status may be revoked. The Program is governed at the sole discretion of the Circl team and does not constitute an employment relationship, partnership, or contractual guarantee of any kind.
A Country Manager is a member designated by Circl to represent, animate and help maintain the quality of a country-specific community ("Country Circle") within the Service. Country Managers act as trusted contributors within their community, in accordance with the editorial guidelines and values of Circl.
The Country Manager status is a position of trust granted at Circl's sole discretion. It is not an acquired right, is not transferable, and remains subject to continuous review by the Circl team.
Designation as a Country Manager is based on the cumulative assessment of the following criteria:
The candidate must demonstrate genuine and regular activity within the Country Circle concerned, predating their designation.
Content published by the candidate must be representative of, and valuable to, the community of the relevant country, and consistent with Circl's editorial standards.
The candidate must have demonstrated an ability to interact constructively and respectfully with other members of the platform.
The candidate must be able to maintain a regular presence sufficient to ensure the ongoing animation of the Country Circle.
The candidate must have no history of reports, sanctions, or violations of Circl's Terms of Use or Community Guidelines.
The Country Manager status is not open to public application. It is granted exclusively by decision of the Circl team, based on the criteria described above.
Country Managers designated by Circl benefit from the following, for as long as their status remains active:
| Benefit | Description |
|---|---|
| Official badge | A permanent visual badge displayed on the Country Manager's profile and on their published content, identifying them as the official representative of their Country Circle. |
| Editorial rights | Ability to publish on behalf of the community, pin or unpin posts within the Country Circle, and moderate comments in accordance with Circl's Community Guidelines. |
| Reduced commission | A 0% Circl commission rate applies to eligible Subscriptions and Tips generated by the Country Manager, in place of the standard commission rate otherwise applicable to creators. |
| Early monetization eligibility | Immediate eligibility to activate paid Subscriptions, regardless of follower count, notwithstanding any minimum threshold otherwise required under the Creator Program. |
| Product input | Priority consideration for feedback and early access to select new features, at Circl's discretion. |
Benefits described in this Article are granted solely in connection with, and for the duration of, active Country Manager status. They are automatically and immediately discontinued upon revocation of the status, as described in Article 4.
Circl reserves the right to revoke the Country Manager status at any time, without prior notice, on any of the following grounds:
Prolonged absence of publication or animation within the Country Circle, or manifest disengagement from the community represented.
Publication of content that violates Circl's Community Guidelines, is recurrently off-topic relative to the Country Circle's purpose, or constitutes misuse of the visibility conferred by the status, including excessive self-promotion or spam.
Failure to moderate the Country Circle in situations manifestly requiring intervention, or, conversely, disproportionate, arbitrary or discriminatory use of moderation rights.
Receipt of multiple, documented reports from community members concerning the conduct or management of the Country Manager.
Any breach of Circl's Terms of Use or Community Guidelines, or any conduct contrary to the values of respect and inclusion promoted by the platform.
Fraudulent, diverted or non-compliant use of the economic benefits associated with the status, including any attempt to manipulate engagement metrics within the Country Circle, such as through fake accounts or artificial engagement.
Absence of dynamism or growth observed within the Country Circle, which may justify reassignment of the status to a member deemed better positioned to serve the interests of the community.
Upon revocation, the following applies:
Circl remains the sole judge of the assessment of eligibility criteria and grounds for revocation described in Articles 2 and 4. No decision to grant, deny or revoke Country Manager status may be formally contested, this status being an exclusive prerogative of the platform.
This Program may be amended by Circl at any time to reflect changes in the Service, its community guidelines, or applicable requirements. Continued participation in the Program after any such amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
This Program operates in conjunction with Circl's broader user agreement. Please also review:
