These Subscriptions Terms ("Subscriptions Terms") govern the use of Subscriptions and Tips on Circl (the "Service", "Platform", "we", "us", "our"), as offered under the Creator Program. They supplement, and form an integral part of, our general Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict between these Subscriptions Terms and the general Terms of Use, these Subscriptions Terms shall prevail with respect to Subscriptions and Tips specifically.
By purchasing a Subscription or sending a Tip to a Creator on Circl, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Subscriptions Terms.
Subscriptions and Tips are payments made in exchange for access to a Creator's content or as one-time support for that content. They are commercial transactions for a defined service (access to content), not personal gifts, donations, charitable contributions or payments made in the context of a personal or romantic relationship. Circl's Community Guidelines strictly prohibit any solicitation of money outside of this framework, including romance-based solicitation, and any attempt to use Subscriptions or Tips to circumvent this prohibition may result in immediate account termination.
Circl acts solely as a platform facilitating the transaction between Subscriber and Creator. Circl is not a party to the underlying relationship between a Subscriber and a Creator and does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, legality or continued availability of any Creator's content.
Creators may offer a paid Subscription to their content. Pricing is localized by region and displayed in your local currency at checkout:

Pricing and regional availability may change at any time. Material changes affecting active Subscribers will be communicated through the app or by email at least 30 days in advance, in accordance with our general Terms of Use.
Any member may send a one-time Tip to a Creator, using one of three fixed amounts:

Tips are final, one-time payments and do not entitle the sender to any specific content, response or ongoing access, unless separately offered by the Creator.
Subscriptions are billed and processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, in accordance with Section 8 of our general Terms of Use. Circl does not directly collect, store or process your payment information.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, through your app store account settings. Canceling a Subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period; you will retain access until the end of the period already paid for.
Refunds for Subscriptions and Tips are subject to the refund policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and any applicable consumer protection laws. Circl does not issue direct refunds for Subscriptions or Tips already processed by these platforms.
No refund will be issued for a Subscription canceled due to a Subscriber's violation of these Subscriptions Terms, our general Terms of Use or our Community Guidelines.
Creators offering Subscriptions or receiving Tips agree to:
Failure to meet these obligations may result in suspension of monetization features, loss of Creator status as described in the Creator Program, or account termination under our general Terms of Use.
Subscribers agree not to misuse the chargeback or refund mechanisms of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to obtain content or access without payment ("chargeback fraud"). Circl reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account of any Subscriber found to be engaging in abusive chargeback activity, and to permanently restrict that Subscriber's access to Subscriptions and Tips features.
Revenue from Subscriptions and Tips is shared as follows:

Country Managers benefit from a reduced 0% Circl commission on Subscriptions and Tips, as described in the Country Manager Program. Payout methods, schedule and transfer fees are described in the Creator Program.
If a Creator loses their Creator status, is suspended, or has their account terminated for any reason, any active Subscriptions to that Creator will be canceled going forward. Subscribers will not be charged for subsequent billing periods, but no refund will be issued for the period already paid for, except as required by the applicable app store's refund policy or by mandatory consumer protection law.
Circl is not a party to, and assumes no liability for, disputes arising between a Subscriber and a Creator regarding the content, quality or delivery of a Subscription or Tip. Members may report a Creator or a Subscriber directly within the application or by contacting contact@app-circl.com; Circl will review such reports in accordance with Section 9 of our general Terms of Use, but is under no obligation to mediate, refund or otherwise resolve a dispute between members.
Circl provides the technical infrastructure enabling Subscriptions and Tips but does not create, control, endorse or guarantee any Creator's content. The disclaimers of warranties and limitations of liability set out in Sections 12 and 13 of our general Terms of Use apply in full to Subscriptions and Tips.
We may update these Subscriptions Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing, legal requirements or community standards. Material changes affecting active Subscribers will be communicated through the app, by email, or by other reasonable means, at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect, in accordance with our general Terms of Use.
Your continued use of Subscriptions or Tips after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Subscriptions Terms.
